Creator tools — go live in minutes.

Go Live

Phase 1: manual streaming. You’ll stream with OBS into AWS IVS, then viewers watch on Pulse. Creator dashboard and one-click streaming comes later.

Open Watch Page Back to Discover

Quick checklist

1) Create an AWS IVS channel

  • Go to AWS → Amazon IVSChannels
  • Create a channel (Standard + Low Latency)
  • Copy your Stream Server, Stream Key, and Playback URL

Tip: Don’t share your stream key. Treat it like a password.

2) Configure OBS

  • OBS → Settings → Stream
  • Service: Custom
  • Server: paste AWS Stream Server
  • Stream Key: paste AWS Stream Key
  • Click Start Streaming

3) Confirm stream is live

  • AWS IVS channel should show LIVE and “Healthy”
  • Open watch.html and verify playback
  • Expect a small delay (HLS)

4) Stop the stream when done

  • Stop streaming in OBS to avoid extra costs
  • Rotate stream key occasionally (recommended)

Broadcast settings (Phase 1)

These are placeholders for now. Phase 2 will save this and update stream metadata automatically.

For now, update the title manually on watch.html.

Troubleshooting

Watch page is black

Confirm OBS is streaming, AWS IVS shows LIVE, and your Playback URL is correctly embedded in watch.html.

AWS shows Offline

Double-check OBS “Custom” server URL + stream key. Make sure no extra spaces were pasted.

Audio not working

In OBS, confirm your mic/source is active and that the mixer bars are moving.

Security note

Never post your AWS stream key anywhere public. If you think it was exposed, rotate it immediately.
